US Democratic presidential candidates (L-R) Senator Elizabeth Warren, Senator Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden interact during a break at the Democratic presidential primary debate at the Charleston Gaillard Center on February 25, 2020 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Former Vice President Joe Biden says he is adopting two plans by Senators Bernie Sanderss and Elizabeth Warren for the 2020 presidential election.
"Across the country, middle and working class families are being squeezed by debt," said the Democratic frontrunner on Twitter Sunday. "This is a massive problem, and one that we need all of the best ideas to solve. Thats why today, Im adopting two plans from @BernieSanders and @ewarren to achieve this."
Sanders had proposed to make public colleges and universities free for families whose income is below $125,000.
"Its a good idea, and after consideration, I am proud to add it to my platform," Biden posted.
He also endorsed Warrens proposal called "Fixing Our Bankruptcy System to Give People a Second Chance," asserting that "few people in the country understand how bankruptcy hurts working families more than Elizabeth Warren."
"This primary has brought out our partys best ideas, and our nation is better for it," he tweeted. "If Im President, Ill continue to bring the best ideas from all corners of the country and fight to make them reality."
Biden, moderate Democrat with most delegates so far, made the comments ahead of a debate with Sanders, a socialist Democrat also vying for the partys nomination ahead of the November vote.
